Acquisitive prescription – another case handled by the law firm
The law firm has accepted another case of inheritance.
The request of the application concerns the acquisition of ownership by acquisitive prescription of shares in the right of ownership of developed land and the right of ownership of land on which there is a family house purchased by the Firm’s clients in the 1980s and part of a garden in the central district of Poznań.
Prepared and filed by the Law Firm, the application for a declaration of entitlement includes fragments of four spatially and functionally connected plots of land located in Poznań, which the clients have possessed spontaneously for more than thirty years.
The tabular co-owners of the property on which the house stands were, in turn, the State Treasury and the City of Poznan, while the owners of the property on which the garden is located were individuals. At least since the purchase of the house, they have not exercised any ownership rights over the property.
The case is currently before the court of first instance – the first hearing will be held in October. Many times it happens that even in the center of the Cities the legal status of the land is far from orderly, and the only way to regulate it is through an inheritance procedure.
