Road compensation – another decision for the client
Recently, our law firm once again represented the owner of land parcels that were taken over by the Treasury for public roads, as a result of the division of the property made at the request of our client.
This time the case involved the acquisition of parcels of land by the Rokietnica municipality. The expropriation of land for a public road is carried out with the payment of compensation. In order to determine the amount of compensation, negotiations took place between the previous owner of the land plots and the municipality, which, however, did not produce a satisfactory amount.
In the opinion of the law firm and our client, the proposed amount was abnormally low. The law firm initiated proceedings before the Poznań Starost to determine the amount of compensation. Ultimately, as a result of the actions taken by the law firm’s team, our client received almost three times the compensation.
