Nationalization – lawsuit for damages
The firm filed a lawsuit in the Warsaw District Court against the State Treasury for compensation for an enterprise nationalized in the 1950s.
The heirs of the factory’s former owner are demanding compensation for unlawful nationalization. They had previously obtained an administrative decision stating that the
nationalization was carried out in violation of the law, opening the way for the Treasury to be assigned tort liability.
