Landmark ruling in case against Social Security
A landmark ruling was made this week in the law firm’s case against Social Security.
The object of the proceedings was to determine the social security coverage of an employee who is a member of the board of directors and a partner in a sole proprietorship. In this case, it is particularly galling that Social Security recognized the combining of insurance titles for more than a dozen years and collected contributions, only to then refuse to pay the pension.
Meanwhile, a citizen who conscientiously fulfills public law obligations in accordance with the authorities’ instructions has the right to expect a benefit in accordance with established insurance titles. The court hearing the case shared our team’s reasoning and ruled in favor of the client. Congratulations Sara Til Dąbrowska.
