Illegal clauses – verification of terms and conditions of online stores
The law firm has completed work on the content of the terms and conditions of several online stores with a particular focus on potential prohibited clauses.
The biggest problems arise when the store’s customers are both consumers and businesses – then it is necessary to create universal regulations covering both categories. It is not an art to avoid prohibited clauses included in the list maintained by the President of the OCCP.
A greater challenge is to predict which provisions may become the focus of the OCCP in the future and at the same time become the cause of a costly loss before the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection in Warsaw.
