Reprivatization – lawsuit for return of paintings
A lawsuit prepared by the firm’s lawyers has been filed with the Poznań Stare Miasto District Court, demanding that the National Museum in Poznań release a number of paintings from the family collection on behalf of the heirs of the count’s family.
The collection was illegally seized in 1945 by the Treasury and subsequently deposited in the museum. Some of the museum’s objects were returned voluntarily, but more than a dozen works of art
The art, for reasons that are incomprehensible, was met with refusal. Since the call for a settlement attempt did not meet with any response from the opponent, it became necessary to file a lawsuit.
