Real estate-hereditary development rights

The law firm is preparing a legal opinion in a complex case involving a property for which two land registers are maintained. The disputed element is whether the clients have acquired ownership of the property or the so-called “real estate” hereditary development right still regulated by the provisions of the Prussian Civil Code (BGB).
