Krzysztof Skonieczny’s latest film with legal assistance from our law firm

Our legal team is thrilled to be a part of the latest project led by Krzysztof Skonieczny, the director of “Blinded by the Lights.”

“Wrooklyn Zoo” is a contemporary reinterpretation of William Shakespeare’s classic tale, “Romeo and Juliet”. Romeo, a talented skateboarder, falls in love with Julia, a Romani girl seeking to break free from her community. Their love becomes a powerful force, transcending cultural and societal barriers, leading them on a journey of self-discovery and resilience.

Our role in the project includes full legal support at every stage of the production, including:

Film Financing: Crafting an extensive financing structure, harmonizing Polish and foreign legal frameworks while ensuring compliance with the Polish Film Institute’s requirements to secure the incentives (Cash Rebate) and the grant from PFI’s Operational Programs; negotiating agreements with various financing entities, including co-producers, investors, and distributors, both domestically and internationally.

Production Process: Negotiating agreements with creators and artists, location agreements, service provider agreements, and offering general advice throughout the entire production process.

Project Clearance: Providing ongoing support to producers in clearing the project, taking into account the distinctive music and nature of the film, which draws inspiration from both Romani culture and urban style.

Production Management: Advising producers on effective personnel and film production management.

We eagerly await the premiere of “Wrooklyn Zoo.” 🎬🌟
