Favorable decision of the governor – palace and park complex
After a relatively short proceeding, the clients’ efforts to recover the Kobylniki court complex were successful.
The Governor of Greater Poland has issued a decision stating that the palace and park part of the Kobylniki estate (Kościański County) was not covered by the provisions of the decree on carrying out land reform. The case required the hearing of witnesses and the submission of a pre-draft for the division of the property.
The governor shared the argument that the residential part of the estate, centered around the palace, was a separate, independent property from the agricultural part, and therefore the palace and park complex could not legally be taken over by the Treasury during the land reform. The decision is not final.
