Design contracts – success in the first instance
After more than a year-long trial before the District Court in Poznań, a verdict favorable to the law firm’s client sued by a subcontractor for payment of several hundred thousand zlotys for services related to the subcontracting of construction investments.
The disputed issue was among other things The accusation of the statute of limitations related to the issue of the timing of the work and the basis for the measure of the contractual penalty.
The court of first instance shared the law firm’s reasoning and dismissed the claim. The verdict is not final.
