Reprivatization – analysis of the legal status of the pre-war company
Our firm accepted a case involving a large, reputable private enterprise that was nationalized after World War II.
The law firm’s activities so far have included searches in archives, including Section B of the archival commercial register (RHB), maintained for former capital companies. The law firm aims to obtain the necessary documents concerning the pre-war structure of the company and its post-war
fate, in particular regarding the takeover of the company by the communist authorities into receivership and its nationalization. After collecting documents, the law firm will assess the prospects of pursuing possible claims by the heirs of the pre-war shareholders.
