Attorney-in-law Tomasz Przybecki comments on events at school in Warsaw

Attorney-in-law Tomasz Przybecki commented in Rzeczpospolita on the legal aspects of teachers’ liability for the deaths of students, referring to the tragic events at an elementary school in Warsaw.

According to the attorney, in order to hold a teacher criminally liable, it would be necessary to prove that he or she engaged in specific behavior resulting in the exposure of wards to imminent danger of loss of life or grievous bodily harm.

It is about a specific danger that the perpetrator foresaw or at least could have foreseen. In our opinion, responsibility cannot be attributed to the teacher on duty at recess, as long as he was actually there. The entire article can be found here.
