Excise duty refunds – transport companies
The firm has made a pioneering application to the Polish customs office for the reimbursement of excise taxes on fuel levied for the second time in Germany under the provisions of the Energiesteuergesetz due to the transportation of fuel in non-original tanks in trucks.
Many transport companies that have installed larger (legal) fuel tanks in their vehicles are facing the problem of being charged tax by German customs. Regardless of actions aimed at challenging German tax decisions, client has decided to make a pioneering request
