Case vs GoWork.co.uk – injunction relief
On February 9, 2017, the District Court in Poznań granted the request of our lawyers and secured the claim in such a way that it prohibited the gowork.pl portal from publishing entries on. our client for the duration of the trial, not to exceed one year.
The court found that the plaintiff had made a plausible claim, i.e. the violation of his personal rights, and, above all, that further publication of untrue content about the company could cause irreparable damage to the company’s personal rights and reputation.
The court’s order is enforceable, but can be appealed. Once preliminary issues such as injunctive relief and objections to lack of jurisdiction have been resolved, a substantive clash will ensue.
